The global technological landscape is undergoing an unprecedented transformation, and the latest figures confirm that China has consolidated its position as the dominant power in the sectors that will define the future: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 6G connectivity.

Dominance Data
According to the Chinese Academy of Cyberspace Studies, the country has achieved statistical milestones that are forcing the rest of the world to rethink its strategy:
AI Patents: China currently holds 60% of the global total.
6G Technology: 40.3% of global patent applications come from Chinese institutions, outperforming any other nation.
Business Ecosystem: Just last year, the country was home to more than 6,000 firms specialized in Artificial Intelligence.
From Theory to Heavy Industry
The most significant factor is not just the volume of patents, but their practical application. China's Ministry of Information Technology highlights that AI is no longer exclusive to the digital sector; it is transforming key traditional industries:
Steel and non-ferrous metals.
The energy sector.
Telecommunications.
2030 Projections: The Five-Year Plan
This growth shows no signs of peaking. The National Development and Reform Commission estimates that by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2030), the value of AI-linked industries will exceed 10 trillion yuan (approximately $1.45 trillion).
